How to browse safelyAt In Safe Company, survivors find supportive professionals who listen to their experiences without judgment and offer options and support as they make choices for themselves and their families. We provide compassionate, inclusive services to all survivors, honoring the wide range of experiences and paths that bring people to us.

Safe housing is often the first step toward a safer future. We offer a full continuum of housing support for domestic violence survivors, including a confidentially-located emergency safe house, transitional housing, and rapid re-housing. Our safe house helps survivors reclaim their strengths, work toward their goals, and move into safe, affordable permanent housing. Rapid re-housing helps families resettle quickly, while transitional housing offers support for survivors ready to work toward bigger goals like education, savings, or long-term financial stability.

Our legal advocates guide survivors through justice system processes, helping with Temporary Protective Orders, civilian domestic violence arrest warrants, and sexual assault reporting. We also offer Nia's Place, our supervised visitation and exchange center, providing a safe, neutral space for court-ordered visitation and custody exchanges that protects children while helping survivors meet custody requirements.

Healing includes your mind, too. We provide free therapy, support groups, and wellness activities to help close the gap in accessible mental health care. Survivors can access individual therapy, join a support group for sexual assault survivors led by a licensed therapist, or attend in-person or virtual domestic violence support groups. Wellness offerings like yoga, meditation, nutrition, journaling, and creative arts provide additional ways to heal alongside therapy or as a first step.
