Proclamation Recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month

We are grateful to Commissioner Michelle Long Spears and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners for recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a proclamation at the board of commissioners meeting held Oct. 8. Our Executive Director, Jean Douglas, and several members of our Board of Directors were present to address the Commissioners and attendees and share how our work impacts DV survivors in DeKalb.
